O.E.M. Solutions

Introduction
For OEM customers, it is possible to define the specification of a camera to suit a specific application. Opticstar provides a number of options for single shot and video cameras built round the Sony ICX262AQ CCD colour sensor, the Sony ICX285AL monochrome light-sensitive CCD sensor and the CMOS family of sensors from Micron. Please contact us with your requirements.

Cases can be sealed and sensors can be cooled using on-board TEC cooling to greatly reduce noise during long exposures.

Software Development Kit (SDK)
Opticstar offers a C++ SDK (Windows OS) for customers that wish to develop their own software applications.

Cameras for Hot Environments
We can manufacture on order cameras for specialised applications including cameras that can operate at environmental temperatures of up to 60 degrees Celsius.

Opticstar OEM cameras.
Two TEC cooling subsystems are used. One directly draws heat from the sensor to greatly reduce noise and temperature built-up inside the camera body. The second TEC cooling subsystem draws heat directly from the camera body and is automatically activated as environmental temperature rises.
